This Monster Page, is a collection of the the work that I have done in Core 101 and Core 102, Monsters We Make, through this academic year.
In Core 101, we covered monstrosity and talked greatly about the "other". We studied both myths, like the tale of the Cyclopes in the Odyssey, and then two books, Grendel, and Beowulf.
In core 102 we have been reading more novels such as The Batman series, Blade Runner, and 2001 Space Odyssey. This semester I personally will be studying Freddie Krueger and analying what makes him a monster, along with the stereotypes that he fulfills. I will also be Writing a film review.
